Dave Bates started off singing Elvis songs in the late 80s at talent shows when he had his first break one Christmas at a Pontins camp where he got his first standing ovation, and was advised to push his talent further and he did so by winning a big talent show at Butlins and has never looked back.
The Elvis Tribute show started in the early 90s as Dave is a huge fan of the King! He realized then he sounded very close to Elvis's voice on the big songs from the 70s. During the show Dave complements his singing with some quality costumes which you can see here.
